How to reach IPF

The IPF is located in the building Pfaffenwaldring 31, 4th floor.

By train from Stuttgart Main Station

Take one of these local trains:
  • S1 to Böblingen/Herrenberg
  • S2 to Vaihingen/Filderstadt
  • S3 to Vaihingen/Flughafen
After about 10 minutes, you reach the station "Universität" (4th stop). Use the exit "Universitätszentrum" to leave the station. To reach IPF from the station, use the campus map.

From the Airport

Take one of these local trains:
  • S2 to Schorndorf
  • S3 to Backnang
After about 15 minutes, you reach the station "Universität" (7th stop). Use the exit "Universitätszentrum" to leave the station. To reach IPF from the station, use the campus map.

By car

From the north, use the freeway A81 to the "Dreieck Leonberg". From here, use the A8 (to München) until "Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart-Vaihingen". Change to the A831 to "Stuttgart". Leave the freeway at the the exit "Universität". At the first traffic light, turn left and follow the signs for "Pfaffenwaldring".

From the east or west, use the A8 until "Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart-Vaihingen". Change to the A831 to "Stuttgart". Leave the freeway at the the exit "Universität". At the first traffic light, turn left and follow the signs for "Pfaffenwaldring".
